Group Training Courses
Practice Admin provides affordable refresher training courses, in addition to those included during the implementation and training process. Each course is specific to a particular area of the software and provides a more focused approach to that area. We offer these additional training courses through Microsoft Teams at a rate of $99 per session, regardless of the number of attendees in each session. Listed below are all of the courses currently being offered, along with a description of each course.

- Billing Manager Today Screen Buckets
- This course provides a detailed overview of each bucket on the Today screen, along with recommendations for addressing the claims in the various buckets.
- Billing Manager Patient Transaction History and Claims Transaction Detail
- This course details the Patient Transaction History and Claims Transaction Detail icons
- Claim General to Claim Final
- The Claim General to Claim Final course focuses on the creation, completion, and release of a claim. We will go over each of the three claim entry screens, which include: Claim General, Claim Detail, and Claim Final.
- Claim History and Patient Transaction Screens
- Claims/Patient Transaction Screen training is a focused class designed to help you learn how to navigate screens that have detailed information on both patient and individual submitted claims. The Patient Transaction History is the patient ledger screen in Billing Manager and the Claim Transaction Detail Screen has all of the claim line detail for claims in Billing Manager. You will learn how to read the Patient Transaction screen and adjust and post claim lines from the Claim Transaction Screen.
- Claim Entry
- Claim Entry training is a focused class that will help you to understand the exact steps needed to enter a claim into the Billing Manager program. You will learn how to enter patient demographics, understand insurance validation, the Today Screen and more.
- Advanced Claim Entry
- Advanced Claim Entry is an extension of our Claim Entry class. You will continue to learn about the Today Screen and will also learn more about adding details into our claim screens Claim General, Claim Detail and Claim Final. This includes NDC codes, Prior Authorizations and more. This class also covers how to preview and print claims.
- Claim Follow Up and Researching Common Claim Denials
- Claim Follow-up and Common Denials training is a focused class designed to help you learn how to correct and resubmit claims for adjudication. You will also learn tips and tricks and the fastest way to correct the most common denials from other PracticeAdmin customers.
- Manual Payments-Payment Application
- Posting Manual Checks & Credit Card Payments
- Posting Manual (Checks/Credit Card) Payments training is an overview of posting paper checks from insurance companies from an EOB and posting checks and credit cards from patients in the Billing Manager Payment Application.
- Researching Common Claim Scrubbing Errors and Claim Rejections
- Researching Common Claim Scrubbing Errors and Claim Rejections training is a focused class designed to help you learn how to correct claims scrubbing errors and rejections and then resubmit those claims to the clearinghouse. You will also learn the difference between our internal claim scrubbing and clearinghouse and payer claim rejections and how they are both used to make sure you are sending the cleanest claim possible.
- Reviewing Claims Imported from an EHR/EMR
- Reviewing Claims Imported from an EHR/EMR training is a focused class that will help you to understand the exact steps needed to review and release claims that have been sent to Billing Manger from your EMR vendor. You will learn how to navigate claims screens, review, and release claims. You will also learn the best practices for auditing claims delivery.
- Schedule Manager Overview
- Our Schedule Manager Overview training is a focused class that will teach you the exact steps needed to create, edit, and reschedule patient appointments, and enter and update patient demographic information.
- Schedule Manager Templates
- This course teaches the user how to create and manage templates for facilities and providers. The purpose of templating in the scheduler is to narrow down dates and times that appointments are available. This will help guide your staff to schedule patients at the providers convenience, and to avoid accidental overbooking.
